The cleanliness of the carpet left much to be desired!!! Some of the amenities felt outdated, especially the shower area that could use better maintenance!!! A thorough deep clean wouldn't hurt!!!

The room was quite cramped, making it difficult to move around comfortably. the bathroom floor felt very plastic. There was limited street parking available, necessitating a longer walk to find more options.

the narrow stairs was a bit of a hazard. it’s shocking how a hotel doesn’t offer an elevator, honestly! i expected a complimentary gesture for my troubles, like an upgrade, but apparently that's too much to ask. plus, the cleanliness of the carpet was disgraceful—how do you expect to call this place a hotel?

The Bow Street Runner is a charming pub with immaculate, cosy rooms and a wonderful couple running it. The breakfast provisions were perfect, with cereals and fresh milk provided daily. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the beach and Brighton itself, making it a great find for a relaxed getaway.

A Warm Welcome with Cozy Comforts

I had a lovely time here, especially enjoying the amazing welcome from both the staff and locals. Each morning began with freshly baked croissants and a well-stocked mini fridge with milk and yoghurt. The room was unexpectedly peaceful, even being above a pub, and the shower was top-notch. One small thing could be improved, the kettle in the room had a little leak while pouring, but that didn't detract from the overall experience.
